why isnt this site ever updated when it clearly says up dated week after fixtures! the 21st of march was the last update an we are now the 1st of april?????

Like it says …. tables etc will be updated when results are given to me .. If its not updated its because i’ve not had results !! if you know any results for the weeks then post them on the site …. this site is constantly updated believe me !!

thats a fair point to say when the score cards are GIVEN TO YOU i have seen the score cards at the x-servicemans club over four days ago, i just cant understand that the tables will be updated when the score cards are all colected when there seems to be a lack of comunication from the secretary to yourself the score cards are two weeks late!
and we beat the holland A 5 – 3 on the 18th march 2010
we drew against the brsa b on the 25th of march 2010
and we lost 6 – 2 against the stack be on the 1st of april 2010!
i just feel the first two games in my list should have been updated to the site two weeks and 1 week ago, thanx for your time KARL McKENZIE CAP

i think u may be Confuzzed ,, do u think i’m in the league or something ,lol …..
i’m not in the league this season due to other commitments ! i have been a member of the Ex service A for a fair few seasons , however i do not and have not been to pool this season !
lets just explain the process !
matches get played
cards are collected in at the ex service
danny gaskin then collates the information and puts the results and ammendments together for the league and distributes them to the team captains/pubs ….
i then get emailed or txted the results when dan or paddy gets the time to do it , i have no input when they have that time , i then upload whatever info i have from them , if things are not updated its nothing to do with myself and my site !
in the mean time i have been running this site for my own personal use for the anglesey snooker league , and started doing this as a favour to the Pool league as it has not had a chance to have a website in the past …………
However it needs commitment and input from the users aswell as myself to make it work , like it has done succesfully for the snooker season with teams putting there results up , (like the ones you have put up) , this helps massively as then we do not have to keep on checking our mail box’s !!
the more results i get in from people like yourself the better and quicker i can update the site , like i said i’m on it every day , and also i can see who is on it and when , and how often they are on etc . i get nearly 1000 hits most days from people looking at the info so i cant be doing that bad …….

I have just looked at the results you have given me , and you stated

just so you know these results have allready been on the site since the same weeks they were played , if you go in the Holyhead Pool Fixtures , for the B league you will see that when i get the results i put them into the fixtures , so that all members can see who is winning and losing etc , as they can then see for themselves the current form of other teams , instead of just seeing a table ,

the first time me an my team look up the results it was on the site as a late card (LC) an DANNY GASKIN told me “HE DIDNT BOTHER PUTTING THE CARDS IN BECAUSE THERE WAS NO POINT B4 A MEETING!” me an my team did agree this was wrong but thanx for you time, karl

Dan doesnt need to put cards into anywhere as he is the man who Does the cards , as long as he has a card before the 2 wk dead line then its ok ,
if u look at results in B league , it shows u had LC’s in :
wk 2-14th Jan 2010,
wk 4 -28th Jan 2010,
wk 6 11th Feb 2010 ,
its a shame to get an 8 – 0 loss in this way as most other teams would consider the first LC to be the last as they would not want to be penalised in this way again .
this is not Danny’s Fault , if the card is not in within 2 wks , then blame lies at the team/captain and unfortunately cant be rectified as strict rules apply ,
If Dan said that he’s not put a card in before a meeting , then i’m sure he probably means the result to this web site , and not to his own Admin for the league …. i’ve played in the same team Both Snooker & Pool as Dan for many years and i can asure you when it comes to the rules around cards etc. he is on the ball .
If Dan mails me results and marks any team with LC then sadly that team gets an 8 nil loss – its been this way for years .
Like i said before this site is my own personal site and does not belong to the league , however it can be utilised by members and helped kept upto date by those who wish to get involved . i put up whatever results i get – as and when i get them
